About the Plane

N201DA is a beautiful and well-equipped 1977 Mooney 201. When you walk out into the hangar you immediately notice how sharp looking it is with its dark red and bright white paint with gold trim. Climb up on the wing and look in and you see that it has a very nice tan leather interior. Slide into the comfortable pilot’s seat and you will begin to admire how nicely laid out the panel is. A Garmin audio panel is on top followed by a Garmin GTN-650 Touchscreen GPS/NAV/COM, a King KX-165 digital nav/com, and a Garmin digital transponder. Other panel features include a King HSI, engine analyzer, electric back up attitude indicator, and the fully coupled Century 2-axis autopilot. Our ADS-B solution is a Garmin GDL-50 which works with both Garmin Pilot and ForeFlight.

N201DA is a joy to fly – smooth, quiet, and fast: it cruises around 155 knots.

Don't fly a slow rental...

About the Club

The goal of the Goodrich Flying Club is to offer a great airplane, make membership easy, and keep it affordable.

To keep with our goal to make flying affordable, here are the numbers.

  • $50 Initiation Fee and get a cool Goodrich Flying Club polo shirt.
  • $100 per month dues.
  • Only $152 per tach hour.

GFC is a non-equity ownership club which means you don’t need to buy into the club to get access to the plane. This makes joining the Club easy and much more affordable.

We have kept the application process really simple too. Fill out our simple membership application (link) and send it to us (email link). If you have any questions, you can call Doug Goodrich at 607-821-2982. We do require renter’s insurance and have a policy available for less than $250 per year that meets our requirements. See our Aircraft & Renter’s Insurance page.

We use an online scheduling system to make it easy to see when the plane is available and book your flight. The plane is first-come, first-served and you will find access to the plane very easy.

Our operation is in a huge, full-service, heated hangar. The plane is always warm and you just call the FBO to get it out, order fuel, or put it away when you are done. The airport even allows auto access to the ramp to simplify loading or unloading bags and passengers. It couldn’t be any easier.
